Symphony Orchestra student leadership – Tuesday 31 January
On Tuesday, I attended a GDST Music Head of Departments (HoDs) day, leaving Symphony Orchestra in the capable hands of Ms Kennington for a strings sectional and some student leadership for the other instrumental families. Dr Parsons and Mr Griffiths were both incredibly impressed at the leadership and musical skill shown by Parker G and Estella M as they conducted the group and led a sectional rehearsal. We will be looking to increase student leadership and conducting opportunities in the future.
