Back to School After Ten Years - the Class of 2013 Return!

Of course, every year group who 'strides out' has a special place in the heart of the Wimbledon High community but it is true to say that many former staff remember the Class of 2013 with particular fondness.

It was therefore no surprise at all to see Cafe Sixth filled with a loud, joyful throng of alums last Saturday as they gathered for their Ten Years' Reunion, and the enthusiasm with which they explored every inch of the school grounds was infectious. The Year 12 students who were involved in touring them thoroughly enjoyed hearing lots of stories and memories of times past. Our volunteer archivist Kelly Jones was on hand with precious items from the archive for guests to look through.

From engineers to travellers, midwives to students, the diversity of their experiences and journeys since leaving WHS is rich and it was wonderful to hear what they had been doing since leaving and many have promised to come back and talk to current students.
