Ground-breaking women’s leadership and well-being expert, Tara Mohr visited WHS on Wednesday 4 March, to encourage current and former
students and their parents to ‘Play Big’ and take control of their lives and careers.
From her coaching work with women in the US, Tara Mohr found that many felt that they were ‘playing small’ in their lives and careers and wanted to ‘play bigger’, but didn’t know how.
We listened to some powerful tips on leadership: be your own mentor, do not look for that inspirational person to advise you and work out if your inner critic is preventing you from achieving your dreams. From the lively debate and the brisk trade in signed copies of her book, there is no doubt that that Tara Mohr’s ideas resonated with her audience.
