Friends of WHS donate new benches for Nursery Road

Over the past few years a lot of work has been carried out at Nursery Road to make the WHS playing fields not only the best they can be in terms of sporting requirements, but also a welcoming and pleasant place for family members to watch the girls participate in the many sports on offer at WHS.

The most recent addition comes courtesy of the Friends of Wimbledon High School, who through the various fundraising events organised over the past year, were able to purchase two brand new benches to be located at Nursery Road.

Friends of Wimbledon High School is a parent led group who organise fundraising and social activities throughout the year in support of Wimbledon High School.

Anyone can become a Friend of the School whether a parent, alumna or a member of staff. It is a chance to get involved with the school community and enjoy some of the events and activities on offer. You can find out more about the work of the Friends of WHS and how you can get involved here.
