WHS Alumna in phenomenal Netflix show, The Witcher

Many congratulations to WHS alumna from the Class of 2019, Gaia Mondadori, on her role as Princess Pavetta, in the hugely popular Netflix series, The Witcher.

Starring Henry Cavill, famous for portraying Superman on the big screen, as well as fellow London actress Jodhi May. The Witcher is a fantasy series based on the internationally best-selling novels, that tells the story of a magically-enhanced monster hunter known as a ‘Witcher’.(Definitely only one for older students...)

An avid member of the Wimbledon High School drama department, and starring in a number of fabulous productions including George Orwell's 1984, Gaia was also a member of the Student Leadership Team (Deputy Head Girl). She won the inaugural Sixth Form Essay Competition in 2018, which was conducted by Compass Magazine, a publication of Cambridge University, and now has an offer to study Education at Cambridge from September 2020.

Gaia can be seen treading the boards at the Rose Theatre in Kingston, when she isn’t starring in what is tipped to be the biggest thing since Game of Thrones...
