Creating artwork to music

Earlier this week the Year 8 girls had a wonderful time in their Art lesson, creating artwork to music. 

The students were encouraged to think out of the box and create their own 'art instruments' with their stationery, and to then use these instruments to draw to a range of background music. The session was inspired by German artist, Rebecca Horn, best known for her sculptural installations and art performances. One of the girls taped her colouring pencils to her shoe!
