Year 6 students, joined by girls from The Study, headed over to King's College School to take part in a fun partnerships day.
Once the introductions were out the way, all three schools were split into groups for a number of different activities to get to know one another. Pupils played games which tested their coordination skills and imagination, had mini debates to start interesting conversations, learned songs, drama skills, and were put to the test with a scavenger hunt around the school with different problems to solve along the way. It was wonderful to see new friendships blossoming, just from one day!
Head of Juniors, Claire Boyd, said: "The development of Wimbledon High Junior School partnerships has been a key area for us this year. Building on the huge successes of Upper Junior School participation in the Senior School Thrive partnerships on Thursday afternoons, weekly visits by Year 3 to Kew House Care Home and the new Out of the Classroom and Into the Woods outdoor learning project with Granard Primary School, this new collaboration with KCS Junior School is something really worth celebrating. We know that our girls gain so much from looking up and looking out to the world beyond the school gates and we look forward to joining forces with KCS Junior School even more next year."
