STEAM meets Tennis!

As part of their Wimbledon topic, Year 4 girls visited the STEAM room on Wednesday 20th June to design and make their own tennis ball machines!

Scientist in Residence, Mrs Alex Farrer, helped the girls with their exciting new creations which were made from recyclable crisp tubes, cereal boxes, plastic bottles and elastic bands, and showed them a number of tips and tricks to ensure they achieved a successful end result! A great way to get into the upcoming Wimbledon Tennis spirit!
